Mind, body and spirit

Actually, I don't think mind and body are separated parts as one is nothing without the other, I would call it...don't know, "Unidad esencial". It is different if I talk about spirit and body, it's another dimension, a deeper one, even though they are profoundly connected, I don't know how to explain it actually. Human mind (which needs the body to exist) would not exist without spirit and, this one does not need a body to exist (these are my beliefs, you can disagree or agree).

Hope you find it interesting...I must say I haven't worked this out so much hehehe it's logicall it has blanks. :)

El cambio

Para Heráclito, aquello que componía el mundo físico (Arjé) era el CAMBIO, cuyo principal símbolo, según dicho filósofo, es el fuego. El fuego siempre cambia y lo cambia todo, tiene algo que lo hace mágico, nos podemos quedar mirándolo horas y seguir igual de fascinados que al principio, ¿será que los hombres, al ser apertura, estamos siempre abiertos a los cambios?, nos fascina ver cómo las cosas cambian y cómo el tiempo pasa y nos preguntamos sobre el sentido de nuestra existencia, el mundo...

Help¡¡ I need someboody, Help¡¡... xD

Please help me to make this blog reach every country and city in this world. There will be people who won't care about it but, there will be people who get help or advice or just motivation by this blog? Maybe yes...maybe no.

I'd like to know the cities this blog has reached, reaches and will reach, so please, if you don't mind, tell me, some motivation is never too much :) I will post more stuff soon, don't worry.

Tires

The air is like the tires of the car that is our life, the moment we loose it/them, the moment we stop moving. A car without tires is a bunch of scrap, and so the same is about our body. Pythagoras said that "air" was something more than just air, it was our soul and that's why this came heheh Besides, air in Greek is "pneumos" and, do you know how we say "tires" in Spanish?, (P)Neumáticos (the P has dissapeared). Do you see how I figured all this stuff?? Crazy, isn't it?

The people who has read my blog knows it already but, do you know where does "person" come from? It comes from latin "per sonare" that means "for sounding", so every single person is borned to "sound", souns in a different way because we must be different from each other. When we stop being who we are, we stop being a person, and the same if we are alone, how could we sound alone? The moment we are alone in the wolrd, the moment we stop being a person, we are a human being but nothing else. (being a human being is something great, but it isn't all we can be¡¡)

Hmmm....

I'm gonna write about an interesting social/political phaenomenon I am a part of. I see that, as years pass, there are more people willing to emigrate to the US and join the US Military (United States Marine Corps in my case). I've seen people from Italy, Britain (yes, Britain, it shocked me), Finland, Norway, South Africa... and the answer is: "Why is this happening?". Maybe it's because of the Hollywood publicity that shows us th USA as the fighters for freedom in a world of chaos (It is not my reson but I'm sure that there are people who...) or perhaps it is due to Globalisation: the world changes, the nations are depending on the others more and more, borders must be crossed by nations to survive and become stronger or just to maintain the Western Way of Life, we see how a self-dependent nation does not exist for a long time nowadays...Although there are lots of reasons, (to which we have to add all the personal motivations of every subject) I dare to say that the fact European nations (I am not going to talk about any other kind because I don't know the situation outside...) are stopping to take care of their militaries making service a little bit useless (due to the lack of gear because of sequestration, for instance) and discrediting (this happens in Spain for example). There are still people who want to join the nation's Armed Forces, thank God, because it is necesary people who are still willing to give their lives for their country. When I came back from the military camp I felt happy to have know great men willing to fight for Spain to death. But having said all this, I have to wonder: "Why is this really happening?", "What can we do?", "What do we have to do?"...


My dream is to emigrate to the US for many reasons (I don't wanna live in Spain but I need to see the world for example), but it is not good that all this happens at all...

El ser humano es apertura...buscamos todo conocimiento, compartir el nuestro, cambiar, mezclar...así se avanza, quedarnos fijos en una idea y negarnos a abrirnos a otras implica no avanzar y quedarse atrasado.

Today, I'm writting this to honor the lives of those who passed away on September 11 of 2001. People who woke up like any other morning and went to work...innocent people with parents, children, dreams, aspirations, future...
I'd like to honor the lives of those men and women who lost their lives fighting against the guilties of every attack to our freedom.

Forrest Gump...de nuevo

Me di cuenta de que al principio el médico le dijo a su madre: "Tiene la columna tan retorcida como un político". Con eso, estuve pensando, a lo largo de la película aparecen los diferentes asesinatos o intentos de asesinato de diferentes presidentes y otras celebridades como John Lennon justo en los momentos en los que Forrest hace un gran progreso en su vida (a excepción de la fundación de la compañía "Bubba and Gump prawns", ya que eso fue una promesa que le hizo a su amigo Bubba y debía de ser hecha realidad si o si). Con todo esto pensé que la clave de el triunfo y la felicidad no era otra que ser simple y no complicarse.

Es una bella película, de eso no hay duda, que le hace a uno plantearse el modo de vivir. Estaría bien que todo el mundo la entendiese.

How beautiful Africa would be...
Despite wars and violence, we have landscapes we could not even imagine, places our imagination can't recreate (I reffered to this ones and many others in a previous post), exotic cultures and much more. As it was said in "Blood diamonds": the day the war ends, this will be a paradise. In that film, we can rethink about what we have, what we complain of and even what we buy, because due to markets just like the diamonds or gold ones there are people who loose everything just for us to get a jewelery piece, and we don't even realize it. Boys that are taken apart their families and are forced to take an AK47 and kill people or do even worse things, and it looks like nobody cares, well actually not much people care, there are lots of wars taking place in different parts of the world right now and we can't intend to help everybody. We have islamic terrorism at first, then we have dictators, drug lords, war lords...that is the truth, as we look at our navel and complain about bullshit, there are people suffering horrible things. Listen, western armies are not NGOs, we can't expect troops to be eveywere helping everybody, they are more than busy right now with Afghanistan, Siria, Egypt...etc etc.

It's up to us to take care, take care of mothers whose children are taken to kill people for "freedom" in wars they don't even understand, fathers whose daugthers are raped...I could give more examples of people who need to be helped but, if you don't mind,  you won't mind neither with 2 examples nor with 2000. I know it's stupid and idealistic, the world will keep being like this for much more years, but I will sleep in peace knowing that I told what had to be told, no matter if people cared or not. I bet we all can do something, although experts say that the world is not ready to feed and give a good way of life to everybody in this moment, we cant start changing that.

You know, or you should know, what quote would be nice here...I wrote it many times before, so fucking figure it¡¡

If you don't...rethink what you want, not because I mean you are wrong (there are people that are so emotional that they can't find more words than that and that feel everything so strongly), but because it might not be true what you think. Anyway, I happy imagining that.
